Beirut Crisis Response

The American Task Force on Lebanon is working to mobilize the Lebanese-American community and friends of Lebanon to support a number of critical projects.

 

Within 24 hours of the explosion in Beirut, ATFL began outreach efforts to Congress, the Administration, and humanitarian organizations to get immediate humanitarian relief to the Lebanese people including organizing airlifts of medical supplies on a people to people basis with more than 50 organizations and individuals contributing resources and expertise.

ATFL is assembling over 100 US-based nonprofits and NGOs that provide assistance to Lebanon to call for US support for the people of Lebanon in the form of Food for Peace.

House Representative Darin LaHood on Refugee Crisis

 

Representative LaHood joined the House Foreign Affairs Subcommittee on the Middle East and North Africa to address numerous issues including the Syrian refugee crisis in Lebanon and the impact on the region.

PAST ATFL HONOREES

The American Task Force on Lebanon is partnering with the Country Fund of Rotary Association Lebanon to provide assistance to the Lebanese Food Bank, supported by 28 geographically diversified Rotary Clubs in Lebanon. 100% of the funds collected will be distributed to Rotary Association Lebanon and designated for the Lebanese Food Bank. Donations to ATFL, a US 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization, are fully tax-deductible. Donations go towards food boxes that feed families in need throughout Lebanon.
